Irrigation Specialty Contractor Exam Now Available - How to register/Sign Up

Visit www.floridaexam.com and download the application. Depending on your method of payment, you can either mail or fax in your registration. If faxing, please submit your application to Nancy Hibjan at 407-264-2977.

Business and Finance Section

When registering for the Irrigation exam, you are asked if you wish to take the Business & Finance Section. When sending in your application be sure to indicate Business & Finance unless you are a Certified Contractor in the state of Florida. The contact information for Pearson Vue will be included in the paperwork and registration process (888.204.6230). Once you register, it will take 7-10 business days for Pearson Vue to receive your registration approval. You will be responsible for scheduling the Business and Finance Exam and paying any related fees directly to Pearson Vue.

Irrigation Portion

When registering for the Irrigation portion, with the paper application you will have to choose Irrigation from the list of categories.

Paying By Check

If paying by check, you will have to provide two separate checks at the time of registration, one for $135 made payable to Professional Testing and one for $80 made payable to DBPR for site administration fees. There will be an additional $80 fee for the Business and Finance registration, with the check made payable to Pearson Vue at the time of registration.

Who qualifies to take this exam?

Candidates must be of 18 years of age or older, and have a college degree and one year of work experience OR four years of work experience, including one year as a foreman. College credits can substitute for up to three years of work experience; however, at least one year must be as a foreman.
