CHAPTER NEWS - MAY 2025
Southwest Chapter 
The Southwest Chapter has been meeting on a regular basis since mid-2024. Monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month generally with speakers on topics of interest locally. The newly implemented Cape Coral Irrigation Ordinance has been a hot topic with updates from local building officials at the meetings to answer questions. Tampa Bay Chapter
Finding a meeting location after Hurricane Helene flooded their usual meeting was a challenge. The Angry Chair Brewery in Tampa is now become the permanent location...for now. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month. Plans are in the works for fun/networking events: Top Golf in the fall and the Annual Spring Golf Tournament scheduled for April 4, 2026. Members have recently met with Hillsborough, Tampa and Pinellas County to discuss irrigation contractor licensing and water conservation issues.
