So what is the general consensus regarding statewide licensing? Are you for it or against it?

I’m for statewide licensing, as long as the individual counties and cities recognize the license. Also, if we don’t have their support (state, county and city) in the enforcement of the requirements it will do little to enhance our impact in the residential market and portions of the commercial arena.
I am for statewide licensing. I spend an extensive amount of money on performance bonds, occupational license’s, reciprocity fees, etc. Sometimes it can take several weeks to get licensed in different munincipalities. It seems too, that they all have different requirements.
